  3. Hi Kezia

Well, I started with a dry January. I didn’t really have plans to stay sober for the whole month and was unwell over the whole festive period so to suddenly be feeling myself again was wonderful πŸ™‚ And I felt deserved a drink! I take vitamin c and vitamin d and a probiotic. To be honest I generally take them year round but they seem very important at this time of the year. I have been looking after my mind as I was very stressed at the end of last year and really not good. I am working on keeping stress levels down. But I can always do with lots more good food and health tips so I am enjoying your podcasts. Thank you x

  15. I have started to take an interest in nutrition over the past 6 months, from a general well being point of view and for increasing my proteins etc post physical exercise, (aka to get buff!). Interestingly enough, I can’t remember the last time I had a cold, ( I certainly haven’t had one this winter). I couldn’t say that it is down to a specific formula, but some things I have changed are; 1) eating less dairy (e.g. Breakfast is Green Smoothies or a protein smoothie ( just found a Chai Chocolate Protein smoothie recipe which is pretty good!), (2) Trying to eat ‘raw before 4’, to get the most out of my food, (3) more physical exercise, and (4) getting enough sleep.
I also want to look at things like Vitamin C filters to take out the Fluoride in baths/showers etc. So much to think about, but start small I reckon! One thing I would like to get more info on is eating more healthily on a budget, ( any info gratefully received). Thanks so much Kezia for all your little gems, I’m finding it all very useful in what can be a bit of a mine field when you are just starting out.

    Jon.
